PT Ispat Indo is one of the oldest steel manufacturing companies in Indonesia, setup in 1976. The company which started off as a 60,000T per annum greenfield rolling facility for wire rods steadily added capacity over the decades and now has around 800,000T of steel melting, billet casting and rolling.
80% of our products go to the Domestic market and 20% across the wider Asia Pacific region. Ispat Indo is considered one of the most trusted and reliable brands across Indonesia and South East Asia, a reputation that the company has built painstakingly through the timeless values of safety, integrity, professionalism, quality, sustainability and giving back to society.
With an Electric Arc Furnace based on scrap driving the steel making, the company is well positioned to ride into the era of decarbonization as Indonesia attempts to become a zero carbon & circular economy by 2050.
