Pada awalnya kegiatan operasional Perseroan terbatas pada lingkungan PT Perkebunan I – XXIX dengan jumlah jaringan 5 Kantor Cabang dan 1 Kantor Perwakilan.

Seiring dengan perkembangan kegiatan usaha, pada tahun 1987 Perseroan telah mengalami perubahan nama menjadi “PT Asuransi Jasa Tania”, serta berpindah domisili dari Bandung ke Jakarta.
