Antibiotics are incorporated in most conventional hog feed to treat illness, prevent diseases, and promote growth in pigs. However, the overuse of the drug in pigs can contribute to the spread of antibiotic-resistant pathogens that are harmful to humans
As an alternative to antibiotics, Feedpro uses probiotics to support growth and prevent illness, by improving the pig’s intestinal microflora.
Feed Innovation and Expansion
With no antibiotic growth promotants in its formulation, Feedpro ensures a healthier pig with high levels of immunity and resistance to diseases. Its unique formulation of natural ingredients and highly digestible plant-based proteins produces clean, safe, and natural eco-pork. The innovative feeds complimented by a natural method of growing pigs not only helps protect the environment but also ensures big gains in business.
With its initial success, Feedpro expanded its sales operations to the whole of Luzon in 2005.
In August 2010, Pronatural Feed Corporation was established as a distinct entity to handle Feedpro. It was also in that year that Feedpro was introduced in Visayas and Mindanao.
Babuyang Walang Amoy
Pronatural also set up a systemized natural hog raising method called Profitable Innovative Growing System (P.I.G.S.) or Babuyang Walang Amoy.
The system is endorsed by Ka Gerry Geronimo, a proud Feedpro user and a stalwart in the hog raising industry, whose farm in Batangas has already been converted to the system.

To date, Pronatural continues to expand its product distribution and its initiatives in natural farming nationwide.
