Prem Tinsulanonda International School is a leading co-educational boarding and day International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. Located on its lush 100-acre campus set in the foothills north of the ancient and historic city of Chiang Mai, Thailand, Prem is the first IB World School in South East Asia that offers all four IB programs: the Primary Years Program (PYP), the Middle Years Program (MYP), the IB Diploma Program (IB DP), and the IB Career-related Program (IBCP) in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, Information Technology or Art and Design.
Since its inception in 2001, the school is dedicated to academic excellence and providing multiple pathways for our students. At Prem, students from all over the world receive a rigorous international education that provides them with the global competencies required for a future of increasing cross-cultural interdependence, rapid technological change and critical environmental challenges.
The school is an Apple school and has extensive facilities to support the educational and co-curricular programmes. The centre of the campus is the spacious library and extensive computer centre for student research. An auditorium and an additional amphitheatre each seat 600 and are used for theater and music performances. Sports facilities provide a full gymnasium, and Olympic-sized swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, table tennis, an exercise room, two short-game golf driving ranges football field and athletic fields.
The school has developed a reputation as one of the finest boarding schools in South East Asia with a stimulating boarding curriculum which offers a range of activities throughout the week. Our boarding apartments offer flexible boarding options for students from Grade 3 – Grade 12. Currently there are students from more than thirty different countries studying IB programs at Prem. Our private boarding school includes an innovative boarding curriculum delivered by dedicated and qualified staff.
