Pooley Wines is a third generation family winery and is located in the Coal River Valley in Southern Tasmania. Started by Margaret and Denis Pooley in 1985 with the purpose of being a retirement distraction, the business has grown into much more over the last three decades.

Producing primarily Riesling and Pinot Noir, along with Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Syrah. Pooley Wines has been recognised as a premier cool-climate wine producer.

Pooley Wines was awarded the title of Winery of the Year by the Wine Companion in 2023.
