Description
The Property Owners' Association of NSW Inc. is a non-profit organisation formed in 1951 by property owners who wished to assist each other obtain a fair rental income from their properties.
Many members want to learn more about the Rental Property Industry, some want to share their experiences with others.
Most importantly we represent property owners' interest to the NSW government departments who are under constant pressure to further extend tenants' rights. It is important this work continues.

As well as the personal benefits that our members receive from their membership, the POANSW also widely represents property owner rights to both government and other industry bodies. The POANSW regularly consults on legislative changes, which most recently included the update of the NSW Strata laws, the new Boarding House Act, and the update of the Residential Tenancies Act regulations. We encourage our members to talk to us about what is important to them, and to get involved with setting the POANSW agenda.
