Place Agency is a consortium of Australian universities and placemaking industry practitioners collaborating to co-develop a placemaking program that will provide an opportunity for councils and others to propose community-led placemaking initiatives which can be developed, designed and prototyped with the support and assistance of university graduate students and industry practitioners. In the initial stages, seed funding will be available to support costs associated with, for example, consultation, design, implementation, evaluation and risk management.
