Description

We believe the special human-animal bond is too precious to lose for vulnerable and isolated people in our community. When critical vet care is needed, they are the ones most at risk of losing their beloved companion. Due to financial hardship, they face the unthinkable choice of either euthanising or surrendering their pet. We’re here to change that.

Our mission is to step up and break down barriers to critical vet care in these times of crisis to prevent suffering and loss and keep families together, happy and healthy.

We’re a lifeline for pensioners in crisis, alleviating emotional and financial distress with timely access to resources and the subsidised critical veterinary care their pet urgently needs.

We’re collaborative - connecting with organisations, vets and communities to achieve the best outcomes. Ensuring everyone’s voice is heard and sharing the immediate, measurable and far-reaching impact we make together.

We’re a force for the greater good, leveraging our research and wealth of data to shine a light on the hidden crises vulnerable families face and promote pets as the unsung heroes of human health and wellbeing.

We’re believers that, together, we can create an Australia where everyone enjoys the life-enriching companionship of a pet, no matter where they live or what financial hardships they face.
