Since 1994 The Persian Rug Gallery have been importers of high- quality -Hand- Knotted Persian rugs. We maintain the largest selection of genuine fine Persian rugs on display with over 3000 rugs in our gallery at the most affordable prices in New Zealand.
All our rugs are sourced direct from Iran/Persia, with access to thousands of rugs direct from our warehouses across Iran, and weaving workshops. We import directly from weavers, therefore there is no middle man, so we can pass on the savings to our customers.We also stock collectible and Antique rugs ranging from Circa 1890-1960s, and fine collectible Silk Persian rugs and signed pieces.
Persian Rug Gallery Opened NZ's first ever carpet weaving school in 2004 which offered 3 to 6 months courses to students by Mr Feridooun Salehi the Director who is a certified carpet weaver and valuer.
