Description
The Perinatal Wellbeing Canterbury Trust was created in 2007 by a group of concerned medical professionals and parents who had themselves been affected by anxiety, depression and other issues related to a decline in perinatal mental wellbeing.
The key community needs on which we intend to focus our energy and resources on over the next three years are:
- Support and assistance to parents and whanau with perinatal mental wellbeing issues
- Early intervention and preventative services
- Public awareness
Vision Our vision for our community is Mentally Healthy Parents.
Mission Our mission is to encourage and support parents experinencing a decline in mental wellbeing relating to, or resulting from, pregnancy, childbirth and parenting within the first 2,000 days (Pregnancy to 5 years)
