Description
Indonesian children are highly exposed to vector borne diseases, air pollution, and coastal floods. Waste management, deforestation, income inequality, education and access to it are the biggest problems in Indonesia.
Peri Bumi is a movement that integrates environmental change issues with the importance of family’s role for better and more permanent behavioral changes.
We aim to build a movement of cultivating connection through education, to break the cycle (turn the bad behavior into mindful in pro-environmental: consumption and production behavior) and safeguard the future of children from the climate crisis.
We have three specific key actors (Mothers, Teachers and Children), because they will be the key to changing consumption and production behavior that has been carried out for generations. The specific key actors that are chosen as an empowered actors, who are not only able to make changes for themselves but also to other people around them.
We believe this project will become bigger and more successful in changing the bad production and consumption behavior, providing education, creating new jobs, empowering more mothers, teachers and children.
