To set forth and update high standards of delivering emergency nursing services, educate its members, stimulate research, disseminate new ideas throughout the field, promote interdisciplinary communication and cooperation, and address issues encompassing the practice of emergency nursing. PENA fulfills its mission through the strategies that address clinical practice, education, research, representation, and operations.
