Trace back to 1915 when S.A Cheney founded his family automotive business, Cheney Motors in Flinders St, in Melbourne's CBD.
From that moment on, the business has tirelessly focused on the customer, the team members, suppliers and partnerships with the OEM.
Patterson Cheney currently has over 780 employees. We are proud to be one of Australia's largest automotive businesses with multiple brands (Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Holden, Isuzu, MAN, Western Star and multiple truck brands). We have serviced our customers since 1915, and our success has been built on a strong foundation of customer service.
Patterson Cheney was awarded the VACC Automotive Industry Award - President's Award - Automotive Employer of the Year in 2023 and 2024! We are the first organisation to ever win this prestigious title back-to-back.
In 2022, we reached the pinnacle result with all of our franchise partner's award and recognition programs.
