Description
Pathfinders NT is the Northern Territory’s first Social Traders-certified social enterprise, redefining what it means to support young people through grassroots leadership, social-emotional learning, and real-world opportunities.
Founded in 2022, we exist to walk alongside young people—particularly those facing hardship—as they reconnect with community, culture, and purpose. We deliver trauma-informed, strengths-based programs across the NT, supporting over 500 young people each year through school-based initiatives, community events, mentoring, and youth-led social enterprises.
Our programs include the Young Pathfinders Program, The Rite Path, and Reel Connections Fishing Club—blending therapeutic adventure, storytelling, and mentoring. We’ve pioneered creative initiatives that offer real-world skills and leadership roles to young people aged 10–25.
Through partnerships with Red Dust, IBC, Reeling Veterans, OzFish, and more, we ensure that young people are consistently surrounded by positive, pro-social mentors who reflect the diversity of our communities.
In 2025, we were proud to be named the Telstra Best of Business Award Winner for Championing Health in the NT—a testament to the power of grassroots innovation and community collaboration. Whether it’s launching youth-run events, hiking the Jatbula Trail, or mentoring the next generation of change-makers, we are building a Territory where all young people can thrive and rise to their potential.
