Description
Passerelles numériques Vietnam (PNV) is a French NGO, established in 2010 in Da Nang, with a license to operate in Vietnam issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs - Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Every year, PNV offers a free 3-year IT training program at our center for underserved young people aged 18-23 in Central Vietnam.
Each year from January to August, the PNV selection team completes a rigorous, four-step process across Vietnam, mostly in the Central area. A special effort is also made to include at least 50% young women in each class. However, our main priority is given to the poorest students, especially from ethnic minorities and remote areas, irrespective of sex or gender identity.
PNV's training program is focused on Software Development and Testing (DeV) with 3 majors: Web Development, Mobile Development, and Automation Testing. All training, accommodation, and living expenses of our students are covered by PNV. Throughout their training, students benefit from comprehensive professional and technical skills, solid support for their professional integration and also participate in extracurricular well-being and personal development workshops. Upon completion of the program, students receive a College Diploma from Danang Vocational College (DanaVTC) and an International Certificate from Passerelles numériques.
According to PNV's 2024 Alumni Survey, 95% of PNV graduates have stable jobs with an average salary of VND 21 million/month—more than 5 times the minimum regional salary in Da Nang as prescribed by the government. A part of our alumni's income is spent to support their families and sustainably lift their families out of poverty in various fields (education, healthcare, daily expenses, and business growth).
