We are an independent Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander committee that monitors the Community Services Directorate’s (CSD) progress to implement the recommendations outlined in the Our Booris, Our Way Report.
The Our Booris, Our Way Review considered how to reduce the over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in the ACT child protection system.
The Our Booris, Our Way Committee is focused on ensuring the ACT Government implements all 28 recommendations and 9 sub-recommendations to improve the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people and families in our community.
