OTI provides expertise and equipment in third-party engineering inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT), quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and certification services. OTI is managed by a team of professionals who have been in the inspection business (both onshore and offshore projects) in the energy sector for the last sixteen years. In terms of accumulated experience, its management team has more than a hundred (100) years of experience and has worked on more than two hundred projects worldwide (from Russian waters to Nigerian waters). The cumulative experience of the OTI workforce exceeds 1000 man-years in Inspection and related activities.
OTI’s qualified and well-trained staff, supported by a strong and dedicated management team aims to delight all our customers by exceeding client expectations on all projects undertaken. OTI is one of the few companies worldwide that can design, manufacture, and operate its fleet of crawler systems. OTI also offers the following NDT services – Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant Testing, Thickness Gauging, Phased Array inspection, and others.
In January 2011, OTI became the first Malaysian NDT company to acquire an Automated Ultrasonic Testing (AUT) Phased Array system from General Electric (GE). OTI is also the first NDT Company in Malaysia to be able to offer both conventional RT crawler systems and AUT Phased Array capabilities.
