-------------------- NU Racing is the University of Newcastle’s voluntary Formula-Society of Automotive Engineers (F-SAE) Team. The team consists of a variety of students from a range of years and disciplines who are dedicated to the task of designing, building, testing, financing and racing a formula-styled race car. The car is designed to meet F-SAE regulations in order to compete in a competition event at the end of the year.
Most importantly, students gain valuable practical project, teamwork, and problem-solving experience from their experience as a member of the team. NU Racing provides students with real world experience while working on a unique project. Many students that become involved with the team go on to complete their final year thesis on a particular aspect of the vehicle.
