Novo Medica is a healthcare management company that provides consulting service for healthcare projects to acquire operational license under Ministry of Health Malaysia. Our services include:
1. Regulatory and Licensing ( Hospital and Clinics)
1.1 Guide, manage and coordinate with CKAPS and UKAPS to obtain hospital and clinic license for clients.
1.2 To ensure hospital/clinic complies to the Private Healthcare Facilities and Service Act and related regulatory requirements (including Poison Act 1952, Atomic Energy and Licensing 1982)
1.3 Assist hospital and clinic client in dealing with regulatory constraints and provide effective solutions 2. Hospital and Clinic Operations 2.1 Standard Operating Procedures and Policies – establish, document, implement and train hospital wide clinical and non-clinical SOPs and Policies.
2.2 Equipment planning – Develop specs, evaluation and selection (recommendation to management/ board for decision). Responsible for the equipment budget and its associated maintenance and warranty contracts.
2.3 Manpower planning – Manpower planning, budgeting, including setting up HR policy, recruitment, performance management, appraisal, payscale, compensation policy, HR Budget 2.4 Recruitment – Management and leadership, nurse, medical staff recruitment, development and training.
2.5 Administration – Establish administration and support infrastructure. Including documentation policy, general logistics, correspondence, archiving, corporate information management and protection, reporting and filing policy.
2.6 Clinical support and facilities – Establish biomedical facilities management and logistics operations. Including maintenance, procuring of 3rd party outsourced contractors (eg cleaning, laundry, waste management)
2.7 Quality and Safety – Establish Quality and Patient Safety (QPS) policy and process, including healthcare compliance audit, infection control, sentinel events, statutory reporting and accreditation.
