Noske-Kaeser Marine (NKM) is a specialist OEM for naval and marine HVAC-R, chilled water, fire suppression and CBRN protection systems, supporting Defence and government fleets across Australia and New Zealand. From our bases in Adelaide, Henderson and New Zealand, we provide sovereign design, manufacture and through-life support for critical climate and safety systems on surface combatants, patrol vessels and specialist vessels. As part of the Equans Marine & Offshore group, we combine local responsiveness with more than 130 years of global marine experience and technology.
We design and manufacture naval HVAC-R, chilled water plants and provisions refrigeration systems, and deliver integrated fire suppression and CBRN protection solutions that align with ship safety and control architectures. Our teams support installation and commissioning, harbour and sea trials, and provide OEM maintenance, defect investigation and system upgrades. Across every project we focus on through-life support, integrated logistics support and proactive obsolescence management so that fleet operators and primes can rely on stable, supportable systems for the long term.
NKM is trusted on major programs including ANZAC Class Platform Systems Remediation (PSR), Arafura Class Offshore Patrol Vessels (SEA1180) and ongoing Royal New Zealand Navy support, working closely with Defence primes, shipbuilders, sustainment providers and the Commonwealth and Crown. Our role spans initial design and manufacture through to in-service support, upgrades and life-of-type extensions, giving customers a single, accountable OEM partner for the full life of their platforms.
