Description
North Shore Rowing Club is located on the beautiful Lane Cove River at Longueville. It is the oldest sporting club on Sydney's north shore.
For 130 years rowers have enjoyed the facilities the club has provided. The Club's main objective is the encouragement of the sport of rowing and the advancement of its interests. By doing this the club has given health and strength to thousands of Sydney-siders. Club members have achieved many notable successes over the years in State, National and International competition including several Olympics.
Today the club is home to mostly Masters rowers (age 27+) and a small junior membership (age 13 to 18). We provide the base for about 40 girls from the Roseville College Rowing Team.
