The basic storyline is that the character Onimitzu must accept himself as the chosen one, sent by the gods to destroy a terrible evil empire that resides beyond a great dark wall. Onimitzu and his master Aikido are thrown into battle after battle, fighting the spies, assassins and dark minions of the Dark One, who is the Emporer of the Dark Lands. Dark gods will be summoned! Great dragons awake from their slumber! The fate of the world rests on Onimitzu, the chosen one to find a way to beat the odds by trusting in himself and in his light.
You will be on the edge of your seat throughout the whole movie and entranced, submerged within the plot, which is easy to follow, yet difficult to fully comprehend. The profound and spiritual meaning behind the dialogue and its meaning in the storyline is masterfully woven, leaving the audience guessing and questioning what is going to happen next whilst being constantly surprised and stimulated.
