Description
Situated on 2.2 hectares in Horace Street, Dalby. In 1968, the Rotary Club of Dalby initiated steps to establish a Hostel in Dalby for aged people and an association was formed in 1969. Rotary undertook to support the new Association financially, and the Annual Dalby rotary rodeo was inaugurated. Proceeds from the Rodeo were directed exclusively to the Association for many years. The President of Rotary, Mr Lindsay Sturgess was elected President of the Association, and held this office until 1982. The Dalby and District Aged Persons’ Homes Association was incorporated in April 1969. As well as the support from rotary, the Association has always had support of most other Community Organisations in Dalby. The first buildings, consisting of ten hostel type units, and a kitchen, dining and administration block were occupied in February 1972.

Ningana now offers 48 residential aged care rooms for low and medium level care and are excited to have just completed our very newly refurbished 8 bed wing. These rooms are fully furnished, stylish, modern, and exceptionally comfortable.
Ningana is well known far and wide for the wonderful individual care in a ‘home away from home’ setting surrounded by beautiful gardens.
We also have 14 independent living units adjacent to the aged care home which offer safe and secure senior housing.
