The NEW STRANGE SDN BHD was first founded in 1984 by Mr. Chong Vun Fui in a small town called Tawau. Tawau is located on the east coast of the Malaysian state of Sabah and is the third-largest city in the state. With his constant sagacity, foresight, and business leads, we have primarily operated as furniture wholesalers within Sabah and Labuan to date.
As a scalable startup and a traditional home furniture shop many years back at Chester Street in Tawau, in the shop houses built in 1953, we steadfastly grew into a modern one-stop furniture showroom in 2022. We can now proudly say we are also a home furnishings retailer. We set off with a furniture showroom in Tawau out of a desire to bring a personal connection and a customer-oriented approach to the marketplace.
At present, we distribute furniture products to more than 200 furniture retailers in Sabah. We have been involved in a couple of stages of transforming into a significant player in the furniture industry in Sabah, Malaysia along with making strong and wide connections with merchants and providing diverse styles of furniture for our customers.
With a huge array of new options, choices, price points, and scales, our customers can acquire the best fitments for their comfortable lives, for storage, and for relaxation. Our extensive selection of options includes furniture for the living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, outdoor living space, garden, children's furniture, lighting, and stunning home decorating accessories to add beauty to every home. We also provide the newest furniture designs for offices, cafes, and restaurants to round out the collection. Most of our home furniture products are uniquely selected and imported from China.
Over and above that, our company is an authorised dealer of major furniture and mattress brands such as Matterasso Italia Sunno, Evorezt, Family Nest, Duraflex, DreamMaker, and ELK.
