Newmarket Grandwest is a leading insurance broker based in Adelaide, South Australia, servicing clients across South Australia and nationally.
The brokerage was formed in 2014, the result of a merger between Newmarket and Grand West. In late 2015 the business acquired IC Frith & Associates (SA) which resulted in increasing its broker and client footprint nationally. Following this acquisition an Authorised Representative was appointed in Queensland to expand the specialised product offering in this location.
Newmarket Grandwest is a member of the Steadfast Group which is the largest general insurance broker network and the biggest group of underwriting agencies in Australia and New Zealand. Steadfast consists of 343 broker businesses and 22 underwriting agencies located in approximately 780 offices across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
Steadfast's network, including underwriting agencies, generated billings of over $6 billion for the year ended 30 June 2015. This places us in a strong negotiating position with insurers and gives us the ability to offer our brokers access to a broad choice of insurance products, exclusively built policies at a competitive price and a unique claims escalation process.
