Description
The New Zealand Tonga Business Council (NZTBC) was established in 2010 as a membership organisation in order to encourage and support bilateral trade, grow investment opportunities and enhance economic development between New Zealand and Tonga.
NZTBC is the only industry body in New Zealand dedicated to supporting bilateral relations across respective public and private sectors.
The council works collaboratively with local and central governments, business owners, community leaders, regional agency stakeholders, as well as the Auckland Business Chamber in order to positively influence the environment in which businesses operate and provide information and advice that assists the success of businesses in both in Tonga and New Zealand.
The organisation is a credible source of knowledge and information for its members and non-member business and organisations. NZTBC often arranges workshops, seminars, business missions, members' evenings and other such activities that promote and encourage bilateral trade and investment, entrepreneurship and enterprise and economic development.
