The New Zealand Refugee Advisory Panel (NZRAP) enables individuals with lived experience of forced displacement in Aotearoa New Zealand to actively participate in shaping refugee resettlement strategies and policies. We aim to ensure that refugee perspectives and knowledge influence strategic direction and policies on national, regional, and international levels.
NZRAP provides a collaborative space for refugee communities, groups, and organisations to advocate collectively, complementing existing structures. We work alongside the broader refugee ecosystem in Aotearoa, acknowledging the diverse stakeholders, particularly those with refugee backgrounds, who have been advocating for many years
