Welcome to the New Zealand Optometry Student Society! (NZOSS; est. 2013)
AIMS OF THE CLUB:
-To organise social events and to collaborate with class reps and other societies in social events and interfaculty events.
-To present a unified front of all Optometry students in New Zealand in which to approach possible sponsors and businesses.
-To increase chances of speakers such as graduated optometrists to come and give talks about their experiences and to pass on knowledge -To make a forum for all Optometry parts in which they can discuss papers, organise tutors through the society and possibly buy and sell text books through this forum -Allow for possible networking between classes during studies and once graduated
