The NEM Group was founded in 1997, as a steel fabrication company providing services to mining, sugar, maritime, petroleum and energy industries. With years of experience in the construction industry, Director Bill Nochevan recognised the need in North Queensland for a fabrication company to offer more than just a welding service. Due to growth over the years, a new state of the art technology centre was built in Townsville in 2014. We significantly increased our cutting capabilities, with the addition of a Trumpf 8kw laser and Kinetic K2500 Plasma to our existing machinery. The NEM Group is now proud to offer a complete range of services that comprise of drafting and design, cutting, machining, fabrication, installation, project management and maintenance services customised to meet our clients’ needs. These solutions, combined with our exceptional customer service and ability to manufacture quickly and cost effectively have resulted in a broad client base over countless sectors and regions throughout Australia and overseas. Our rapidly expanding team of skilled staff are dedicated to providing unique solutions and options to suit your scope.
