NEiTA is a community-centred awards program, started in 1994, to honour exemplary teaching in Australia and New Zealand.
For more than 25 years, NEiTA has received around 40,000 nominations for excellent and inspirational teachers from early childhood and school communities throughout Australia and New Zealand. More than 1,100 teachers have received awards, and the NEiTA Foundation, supported by Futurity Investment Group Limited, has awarded more than $1.2 million in professional grants, prizes and endowments.
