Description
The National Council of Women South Australia (NCWSA) represents a range of women’s organisations championing women's rights, gender equality and human rights with thousands of women across SA, Australia and at an international level through our parent organisations, NCW Australia and International Council of Women.
The not-for-profit was founded in 1902, by the inaugural Vice President Catherine Helen Spence. Today our Patron-In-Chief is the Right Hon. Lord Mayor of the City of Adelaide, Sandy Verschoor.
As a member organisation, the NCWSA spends time advocating for and influencing decisions within political, economic and social institutions. Every day the organisation’s volunteers work to make a positive impact and change.
