The Climate Crew is a community for everyone in Australia and New Zealand who is looking to connect to others in All Things Climate – whether you’re just dipping your toe in and learning the climate lingo, a professional looking to transition towards a deeper focus on climate, or leading climate action initiatives, we would love for you to join our growing community.
The Climate Crew was born in Melbourne in May 2023, from a desire to connect to others transitioning from another industry into climate. By November 2023 the Sydney Climate Crew took to the stage, and now we have chapters in Brisbane, Perth, Auckland, Christchurch and the Newcastle area, as well as an all-ANZ virtual channel and several interest groups, connecting nearly 2,000 members. We continue to add more groups to enable the Crew to forge friendships and professional connections that can shape our careers and perspectives in All Things Climate.
Our main purpose is to connect likeminded people, and we focus on in-person meetups and helping to make further connections through our vibrant WhatsApp community – and we’re constantly looking for more ways to support the Crew in connecting, learning, finding opportunities, and helping others to focus on what matters most to them. We warmly welcome great debates, constructive challenges, exchanging ideas, and sharing resources so that we can all achieve our climate ambitions.
