Description

Welcome to MMJ Channel. Movement for Monetary Justice or Gerakan Keadilan Monetari is an NGO registered with the Malaysian Registrar of Societies. We are a not-for-profit organization made up of former Islamic Bankers, Academicians, Professionals from all walks of life, enlightened Shariah Scholars, members of the general public, students, and youths.

Our mission is to inform of the ills of the Monetary System, domestic and international, not understood by many, and to fight for its Reform. Our Constituency domestically is the poor and downtrodden who constantly see their meager earnings frequently stolen its purchasing power.

The suffering also endured by the ordinary Malaysian public who are drowning with increasing food prices, price of houses beyond their reach, graduates with no jobs, school leavers with meager paying jobs that deny them having thoughts of having a family, students who eat once a day, students who survived on the unhealthy instant noodles, young couples struggling to make ends meet being constantly harassed by a banking community that is engrossed on selling debts and credit cards to them. And when the young couples succumb to their pressure and later fail to meet their dues, the banks then line up to bankrupt them.

A government that fails to see the real problem; refuses to engage with Monetary Reformists and is too short of embarking on the reforms needed. A Central Bank is made up of Central Bankers who do not reflect on what they are doing engrossed in career pursuits, failing to see the monetary Reform sweeping across the world in the form of the International Movement for Monetary Reform.

Indeed, Movement for Monetary Justice Malaysia has been accepted as the latest new member of IMMR. Ultimately, Movement for Monetary Justice fights for human justice.
