The MOTUM True Motion Simulator delivers high fidelity realism for eSports, Professional Racing Driver training, Entertainment, Driver Education and Aviation.
Founder Steve Hoinville has over 20 years’ experience in vehicle dynamics engineering with the some of the World’s biggest brands of vehicle manufacturing and motor racing industries. His credentials are amongst the best worldwide including senior roles with Ford, Ford Racing, Caterpillar Racing and Tickford.
With its globally patented 6-axis motion simulation platform, MOTUM was successful in receiving a Federal Government Commercialisation grant that culminated in being selected by Australian Defence for vehicle training. The standards, rigour and performance demanded by Australian Defence is a testament to the build quality and realism achieved by MOTUM in all its products.
Removing the traditional barriers to entry for such technology, MOTUM now delivers professional motion simulation to broad markets including esports, learner driver, corporate events, consumer entertainment, defence, general aviation and motor racing. No longer is this the exclusive realm of aerospace and Formula 1.
MOTUM has achieved Defence standard engineering and deployment and expanded to sales in the UK, USA, and NZ. MOTUM's platform is used by major brands including Red Bull, Car Sales, 888 Race Engineering, Opticoat, V Sport, and Crown Casino, and units are in service with the Australian Army.
The MOTUM platform is well regarded in the racing industry and is used extensively for professional driver training. The alignment with reality is so close that professional driver times on track and in simulation are within 10ths of a second of each other.
