We’re a charitable organisation dedicated to assisting children, young people and their whanau who require support and counselling interventions. We service contracts with government agencies such as Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and Oranga Tamariki. Mirror has a genuine commitment to Te Ao Maori and upholds the principals in Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
We have a range of services available to our communities:
- Mirror Counselling service offers children and young people with emotional, behavioural and/or mental health problems a range of counselling tailored services specifically for their needs.
- Mirror HQ Youth Addiction service provides alcohol and other drug services for young people aged 12 to 22 years of age. This team works from a co-existing problem enhanced approach.
- Mirror Youth Day Programme is a programme that helps young people aged 13-18 years manage their lives and address alcohol and drug issues.
- FASD pathway Mirror Counselling Service, FASD Pathway provides support and screening for children and young people impacted by maternal alcohol use.
- Mokopuna Ora is a service to support 0–5-year old’s and their whānau in the community
- Kaimarie Māori hauora is our specific kaimahi to assist in meeting the needs of Māori clients and their whānau.
- Clinical Psychologist – this service specialises in psychological assessment and consults with young people and their whānau.
With offices based in Waitaki (Oamaru), Ōtepoti (Dunedin) and Waihopai (Invercargill) we provide services across the Otago region.
