At Mind Gap, we help athletes achieve their full potential both in and out of sports by filling the gap in the athletes' mental game. Athletes spend countless hours training for their sport in and out of the playing field, but not many spend the time to train the most important muscle in their body. The brain.
Seeing a sport psychologist does not mean you have a “problem” or are mentally weak. Although sport psychology has typically been used as a “treatment” or as a “fix”, athletes will also be able to benefit from consulting with a sport psychologist on various other issues, be it performance related issues, anxiety, sport-life balance or even to get a better understanding of themselves.
At Mind Gap, we understand that everyone is unique and that athletes have unique needs and demands compared to non-athletes. We also believe that you will come in with your existing needs and skills. Instead of fixing you, it is our belief that if we help fill in the gaps in your mental game and skills, it will help you in your respective sport and subsequently, your life.
