Professor Sallie Pearson leads the national collaboration of 20 investigators and their research teams based across eight Australian universities, including UNSW Sydney, University of South Australia, University of Sydney, and University of Western Australia.
MI-CRE uses population-based linked data and sophisticated methods to study the use of medicines in routine clinical practice and their benefits, safety, and costs. Through engagement with policymakers, MI-CRE is developing and scaling sustainable approaches for timely evidence generation and research translation. Additionally, MI-CRE provides innovative training to foster the growth of the next generation of research leaders.
