Specialist insurance from the industry experts you know and trust. We've been operating locally from the Central Coast, NSW Australia since 1990. Since then we've continued to refine and improve our products to meet and exceed the needs of our clients.
MHIA Insurance was established in 1990 with the intent to create a specialised policy for people residing in manufactured home estates. At the time there was little knowledge of what a manufactured home was and people who owned manufactured homes were having trouble finding insurers who would offer insurance for them.
Manufactured home estates is a term that is rarely used today, the modern term is 'land lease communities', however they are also referred to as lifestyle communities and home parks. Today there are approximately 900 land lease communities across Australia with over 70,000 Australians calling them 'home'.
