Kia Ora, we’re MASA!
Our aims:
To provide an environment where current and alumni Master of Audiology students at the University of Auckland are able to connect across year levels through social and networking events organised by the association.
To present as a unified student body representing the voice of the students.
To advocate for and promote hearing and balance healthcare in professional practice and in the general public.
To increase awareness of the clinical programme amongst students.
To educate on clinical practice of Audiologists including (but not limited to) responsibilities as an audiologist, areas of specialisation, and scope of practice.
To foster inter-professional relationships with allied health professionals to enhance patient centred care.
To stay engaged with the latest research in Audiology and educate on the Best Practice Guidelines in accordance with those set out by the New Zealand Audiological Society.
