The Malaysia Students’ Council of Australia (MASCA) Victoria stands out as an independent student council comprising elected representatives from the vibrant Malaysian student community of around 9,000 members in the southeastern state of Victoria, Australia. These representatives are chosen by Malaysian student organizations affiliated with MASCA Victoria, also known as affiliates.

Our primary commitment is to advocate for and support the interests and well-being of Malaysian students studying in Australia. To achieve this goal, we have established four specialized branches, each focusing on a different aspect to provide comprehensive support to Malaysian students in Melbourne from various angles.

Beyond our dedication to our community, we aspire to be more than just advocates; we aim to be facilitators, fostering collaboration and partnerships among the ASEAN student community. To this end, we have launched the ASEAN Agenda initiative, with the goal of uniting and empowering the ASEAN student community in Victoria.

We take pride in serving over 11,000 Malaysian students across Australia and in promoting the rich cultural and linguistic diversity of Malaysia.
