MakailaHaifa_ Founder Ling Hidah is a Single Mother of 2. After being forced to take care of her daughters all alone, not able to find any way to provide for her children and feeling helpless - she decided to visit a Holy Place ‘Mecca’, in search of a way for the future.
While getting ready for this visit, she struggled to find Modest Clothes suitable for urban living for herself. - So with her long-time best friends, she made one for herself.
During her visit to Mecca, after being asked by people to make one her themselves and Ling realized there is a greater need for what she had made initially only for herself. Holy Place ‘Mecca’ did answer her questions and showed her a way. And hence, MakailaHaifa_ was born.
Since April 2018, MakailaHaifa_ has brought happiness to people’s faces for thousands of times.
MakailaHaifa_ is a symbol of Dignity and Modesty for Muslim Women. But also has a Mission to empower Girls & Women - to make them feel confident with being Modest, by being themselves and without compromising anything all the time.
