Maica Laminates Sdn Bhd is the leading manufacturer and supplier of Decorative High Pressure Laminates (HPL) and Compact laminates in Malaysia. It is the first HPL manufacturer in South East Asia, and the first compact manufacturer in Malaysia. We have just celebrated 50th Anniversary celebration in 2018.
“MAICA” is the brand name under which Maica Laminates Sdn Bhd’s range of products is marketed, reaches a broad international market as a premium quality decorative laminates.
Since the company started in 1968, Maica has been staying loyal to customers by delivering superior quality product worldwide. Maica has two ultra-modern manufacturing facilities and a number of sales offices in Malaysia. It obtained ISO certification for its quality management since 1995 and is now certified for ISO 9001:2015.
Maica places high emphasis in the production of maiProducts. They comply with the European Standard EN438 as its most basic requirements. Other product qualities are maiAnti-Bacteria, maiAnti-Fungi, maiTermite Resistance, Singapore Green Label, GREENGUARD, GREENGUARD GOLD, maiFood Contact Safety and maiAnti-Scuffing, plus Chemical Resistance for its maiLab Chem laboratory grade product.
Maica aspires to be the trendsetter for the industry and the spirit that drives the business is best embodied in its mascot, maimai, as its Ambassador to advocate Green causes. This corporate social responsibility program that embeds into the manufacturing, products and values is promoted through the 'maiGreen, maiHealth' programme.
Maica is also a member of the Malaysia Green Building Council, with membership number IDP 0077 and a member of the Singapore Green Building Council. It has also obtained MyHIJAU for maiLaminate and maiCompact.
