Jurnalpos adalah redaksi yang menyajikan informasi tentang Jurnalistik UIN, dan juga menyajikan berita-berita sekitar kampus UIN (Intern) atau luar kampus dan umum (External) melalui website www.jurnalposmedia.com

Jurnalpos menyajikan informasi yang bersifat mendidik dan mencerdaskan serta menghindari berita yang dapat mebohongi publik dan tentunya lebih bersifat pada objektifitas, serta mengedepankan asas-asas kejurnalistikan, bersifat netral tidak berpihak dan tidak menjadi corong untuk kepentingan pribadi atau suatu kelompok namun tetap menjaga keselarasan dan eksistensi mahasiswa Jurnalistik UIN.

Jurnalpos berdiri secara independen atas inisiatif pejuang mahasiswa jurnalistik UIN dan tidak bercampur tangan dengan pejabat kampus atau instansi kampus UIN namun, kampus UIN menjadi objektifitas Jurnalpos mendapatkan sumber berita.

Jurnalpos selain menyajikan kajian kejurnalistikan juga menjalin silaturahmi dan komunikasi antara mahasiswa yang masih aktif kuliah, para alumnus jurnalistik UIN, mahasiswa jurnalistik di kampus lain, dan masyarakat, dengan harapan tidak memutuskan hubungan kekelurgaan dan tetap menjalain kebersamaan demi terciptanya saling memberikan informasi yang bermanfaat.
