Established in 1995, Journey East has grown to be one of Singapore's most prominent furniture destinations. Housing a curated collection of over 10 international brands, Journey East is known for its unique approach to interior and decor pieces, ranging from reclaimed teak furnishings, industrial-modern accents, refurbished Midcentury South East Asian vintage, and modern designer décor brands.
Journey East has been featured in an array of design media such as Wallpaper*, the Louis Vuitton guide, Designboom, The Guardian (UK), and more. Its own furniture collection, PLAYplay, was designed in conjunction with Italian-Singaporean studio Lanzavecchia + Wai, and was listed as Dwell's must-see at the Milan Design Week, and awarded Elle Decor Italy's 'Best of Design'.
It currently operates out of an 8,600 sq.ft. showroom at the fringe of Singapore's hip and historical Tiong Bahru district.
