JL Asia is a premier project management company specialising in freehold residential developments. The most recent project is the launch of Forte Suites which TOP in late 2016. It is a 106-unit freehold development on Mergui Road. Other developments that the company has managed thus far are Jool Suites, 8 Farrer Suites (both situated at Sing Joo Walk) and Central Imperial and 28 Imperial Residences located in the central district of Geylang.
In Singapore, the company manages Kam Leng Hotel and Porcelain Hotel. Porcelain Hotel marks the company’s first joint venture into the local hospitality sector. It was converted from a row of conservation shophouses on Mosque street. Porcelain Hotel continues to retain the unique nostalgic feel and charm of the property without major renovations to the façade and interior. The company also currently manages Kam Leng hotel after it took over the operations of the 70-room Kam Leng Hotel in Jalan Besar.
The company has ventured overseas with projects in Thailand and Malaysia in the last 5 years. To strengthen and develop its hospitality arm, in 2013, the company started managing Radius International Hotel which has 456 rooms in the prime shopping district of Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. The hotel was later renamed “Hotel Soleil”. Hotel Soleil is currently undergoing upgrading works to enhance comfort and improve its overall guest experience.
In Thailand, the company is managing the development of a hotel resort in the tourist bustling Nimman zone of Chiang Mai. The 4-star hotel, Stay with Nimman, is currently near completion and will consist of 131 rooms. It is expected to be completed by December 2017.
