Description
Indonesian Student Association for International Studies (ISAFIS) is a youth-led non-profit organization which consists of selected students from various universities and majors in Indonesia, particularly in Jakarta. Established since 1984, ISAFIS has managed to live up its mission “Promoting Mutual Understanding among Nations.”
Some of our achievements are:
1. Rewarded as “Peace Messenger Awards” by the United Nations in 1987 2. Trusted to be the official Liaison Officer for 60th Commemoration of Asia Africa Parliamentary Conference 2015 in Jakarta and Bandung.
3. Internationally recognized by becoming a part of Youth Organization for United Nations Department of Public Information (UNDPI); United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA).
4. Trusted to be the Local Committee for Young South East Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Generation: Ocean 2016 in Jakarta.
5. A part of International Week Coordinating Organization (IWCO) and The International Student Conference (ISC).
6. Acknowledged by the United Nations Information Centre Jakarta to spread the UN4MUN Procedure in Indonesia.
7. A part of Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Southeast Asia
