International Islamic Business firstly opened in 2020 under the faculty of Business Administration, Krirk University. However, with the demand of graduate students in Business Administration are increasing due to the interest of Islamic business in Thailand and the effort of Muslim scholars of Business Administration of Krirk University and Muslim business experts who have good knowledge and skills of Islamic business as Ajarn Aumpol Kamvilai, Ajarn Sarawut Laesan, Dr. Parinya Prayadsap and Dr. Smeet E-sore. Krirk University decided to the establishment the first International Islamic College Bangkok which located in the heart of Bangkok.
Krirk University had officially decided to establish International Islamic College Bangkok on July 1, 2022, the Collage aims to build quality graduates in Islamic Business Administration in all levels and to develop as a leading Islamic Business College in Thailand. Currently, the course of Islamic Business Administration programs offers for both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, more than 200 students enrolled including Thai and foreign students. The collage has cooperation with many important organizations such as the Sheikul Islam office in Thailand, the Central Islamic Council of Thailand, Division for Promotion of Islamic Organizations and Hajj Affairs, Department of Provincial Administration, Ministry of Interior, Halal Science Center Chulalongkorn University, and other organization from both public and private sectors.
