The Institute for Biomedicine and Glycomics has combined the expertise of its founding institutes — the Institute for Glycomics, Griffith Institute for Drug Discovery, and the biomedical teams from within the Menzies Health Institute Queensland. Each of the three founding institutes have strong reputations for research excellence in their own right, together they will be formidable. Griffith biomedical researchers lead the world in specific disciplinary areas, and work on challenges that affect communities around the world including some of the poorest and most disenfranchised.
