Founded in 2006, Insaf Murni Association of Malaysia (IMAM) leads the fight against drug abuse in Malaysia. Our mission is to eliminate drug misuse through comprehensive rehabilitation programs. We’ll guide former users toward a better life by helping them embrace spiritual and moral values during their recovery journey. Our leadership team includes doctors and specialists, along with people who have overcome drug problems through treatment. This ensures that our programs are both compassionate and effective.
IMAM offers many services like our core MMT and NSEP programs, medical treatment, psychosocial rehabilitation, counselling and shelter homes in collaboration with AADK, PDRM and KKM. We’ve accomplished meaningful initiatives and partnerships, with plans for future growth like drop-in centres and shelters for people with HIV. We also aim to provide better training for our staff to improve our skills and the quality of our work. IMAM is not just an association; it’s a community dedicated to changing lives and supporting long-lasting recovery.
Our wider goals also include supporting other vulnerable groups, such as Men Who Have Sex with Men (MSM), Transgender (TG), and Women at Risk (WAR). Collectively, we are committed to fostering a healthier and more inclusive society.
