Description
The current Inhabit Apartment group of buildings began in 2011 with the purchase of two short-term buildings in the Brisbane CBD. In 2015, Inhabit had grown to 7 buildings comprising some 990 units in total and about 680 in the letting pool. Three were in short term letting and the balance in permanent.
A strategic planning decision in late 2015 saw us decide to concentrate on permanent letting.
Two of the short-term buildings have been sold and replaced with another permanent building of 260 units. We now have a strategic focus on larger permanent buildings of 180 or more units and have 4 of that scale.
Due to the nature of our industry, we have a number of different client groups; renters, holidaymakers, body corporates and our real estate buyers and sellers in the buildings. We aim to provide a pleasant and professional service to each of these client groups. Ultimately, our success depends on our service. As an endorsement of our services, we applied for, and won, 9 out of 9 Body Corporate, 5 year, caretaking extensions at AGMs this year and 14 in the last two years.
